Melissa B. shares her experience:
"New mothers need so much support. Lactation services are critical in helping women understand that what they are experiencing is normal."
"I am proud to have nursed both of my girls until they were 2 years old. I feel this is the best gift I could have given them, for the health benefits as well as the closeness it fostered between us."

Kelley K. tells her story:
“When I became a mother 3 years ago, I was beyond excited to begin a bond with my baby in the best way I thought possible, breastfeeding! However, breastfeeding did not come to me as naturally and easily as I imagined. My daughter had trouble latching on to my breast and I quickly found myself in a physically and emotionally painful situation. I wasn’t sure if she was getting enough milk and nutrition from me alone, so I turned to supplementing with formula Eventually, my milk supply diminished and I wasn’t able to breastfeed at all. I was totally devastated!"
" When I had my son in October 2014, I knew this time not to be afraid or embarrassed to ask for help. I couldn’t have asked for a better person than Farrah to give advice on breastfeeding. Farrah breastfed four of her own children, and is not only experienced, but also patient and understanding. She watched the way I breastfed my son and recommended new techniques and tips that made it much more comfortable for both the baby and myself. Farrah was a huge help for me during the beginning stages of breastfeeding, and I have no doubt that she will be just as helpful to other mothers and their babies!”
